We played all Beatles and Stones and stuck with mostly college gigs, but did play Green's Tavern often. I joined Chris, Dex Stulz, Bill Tuthill and later, Tom Puyear in a group called The Roamins. That lasted for a year or so and when I was later attending KCC I got a call from Chris Edwards at Olivet College. I remember Del Shannon singing a few with us at the Green Top a time or two. As I recall, Joe Yock played with the group at times. I did so, and with vocalist, Howard Streeter, guitarist, Ted Perry and organist, Tom Puyear, we used to play the Green Top and The Kit Kat Club among other spots. I'd been drumming a bit with a polka band and he invited me to join his group, The Tornadoes. While I was still going to Bronson High School (about '63) I got a call from Union City bassist, Dick Wessel.
